What is a Thermal Paper Roll? How Does it Compare to Regular Paper?

We are all familiar with printers that require ink and regular paper. However, many autoclaves with in-built or attached printers are thermal printers. Thermal printers use heat and pressure rather than ink when they print. This means you never need to replace a toner ink cartridge but you will need special thermal paper to get your cycle print outs.

Does Your Autoclave Have a Digital Recording Option?

In addition to printed cycle reports, many autoclaves (including IcanClaves) have a digital recording option.

Not sure if your autoclave has a digital recording option? Have a look on the front of the machine for a USB port. When you are doing your sterilisation reporting, all you need to do is insert the USB into your computer to access your cycle reports.
